Police capture man from “cartoonish” sketch

(ABC News) Investigators credit a police sketch with helping them arrest a man accused of stealing from a farmers market stand by pretending to be an employee.

While the sketch given to police by a witness may have appeared amateurish and was called “cartoonish,” one police officer thought he recognized the man – and he was right.

Hung Phuoc Nguyen, 44, admitted to the crime and has been charged with theft.
