Pocatello to host K-9 conference

The Pocatello Police Department K-9 team will host a Police Canine Association Conference this spring.

More than 50 K-9 teams will be in Pocatello from May 7 to May 11. The event will feature practical training and classroom courses to help officers and their canines improve their skills.

The conference will end with a trials competition testing dogs’ abilities in agility, suspect apprehension and odor detection.
