East side Greenbelt pathway construction begins
HK Contractors, Inc. began construction on the extension of the Greenbelt from Pancheri to Broadway on the east side of the Snake River Tuesday.
Crews are removing concrete and trees, installing asphalt pathways and sprinkler systems and repairing landscapes.
Construction is currently scheduled with one lane of traffic along Capital Ave. open in each direction.
Pedestrian detours will be set up during different work phases.
All local businesses will be accessible during construction.
