ITD sets public meeting on I-15 & U.S. 20 Interchange

The Idaho Transportation Department will host a Community Kickoff Meeting to talk about proposed improvements to the Interstate 15 interchange with U.S. Highway 20 in Idaho Falls. It is set for Wednesday, May 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Temple View Elementary School at 1500 Scorpius Drive.

The city of Idaho Falls and Bonneville County are working with ITD to develop plans to improve the connections at I-15 and U.S. 20. The agencies hope to develop community-based solutions and the meeting is designed to give the public a first view of it.

This study will examine interchanges at Broadway Street, and Grandview Drive on I-15, and Lindsay Boulevard, Riverside Drive/City Center, Science Center Drive and Lewisville Highway on US-20. The study area includes a potential express route north and west of Idaho Falls.

The meeting is planned as an open house, so anyone can drop in anytime to view display boards and meet with project staff.
