Blackfoot Animal Shelter kicking off Idaho Gives
They say it’s better to give than to receive. The Blackfoot Animal Shelter kicked off its capital campaign for Idaho Gives.
Idaho Gives begins thursday and the goal is to come together to help nonprofits in our state.
Guests could enjoy free food and participate in raffles on wednesday. The Blackfoot Animal Shelter hopes to raise money to go toward a new facility they say they desperately need.
“We need more space to be able to quarantine animals to keep them safe and healthy. They need to be able to be quarantined away from sick animals. And we’re just too small, we’re getting too big. Too many animals” says Amanda Cevering, manager.
If you would like to give to the animal shelter or any other nonprofits in our state, you can go to the Idaho Gives website.
