Displaced owlets transplanted to new homes in Utah

New homes have been found for 19 baby owls that were brought to a Wyoming wildlife rehabilitation center about a month ago.

The Teton Raptor Center in Jackson Hole found itself in late March with a sudden influx of owlets from three separate broods of young owls in Idaho.

The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that all 19 of the baby owls were relocated to active nests in Utah.

Teton Raptor Center Rehabilitation Director Meghan Warren says putting the baby owls in established nests is the best way to help them survive.
