Machine catches fire at manufacturing facility

Idaho Falls firefighters responded to a fire at Andersen Manufacturing Inc. at 3125 N. Yellowstone in Idaho Falls around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officials said a machine that polishes metal with a corn-based substance caught fire.

Workers were able to contain and put out the fire before crews arrived. Firefighters then examined the machine and put out additional embers.

Crews said the fire caused minor property damage.

No injuries were reported.
