Idaho Falls woman with 3 outstanding warrants arrested

Idaho Falls Police stopped a 48-year-old Idaho Falls woman after she ran a stop sign Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

Officers report Eugenia Lyn Avila gave false information about her identity.

Officers then searched her vehicle and found methamphetamine, a meth pipe and a marijuana pipe.

IFPD also discovered Avila had three outstanding warrants – two from Bonneville County and one from Bannock County.

Avila was arrested on the following charges:

Felony Possession of Controlled Substance (1.6 grams of Methamphetamine) Drug Paraphernalia-Use or Possess with Intent Providing False Information to an Officer Outstanding warrants (2): Bonneville County (Pretrial Service Felony and Probation Violation Felony) Outstanding warrant: Bannock County Possession of Methamphetamine
