Idaho Gives donations top $1.5 million

Idaho Gives raised $1,562,228.76 from 10,842 donors to assist 570 non-profit agencies during a full day of fundraising last Thursday.

The campaign posted a list of the organizations raising the most money and those who generated the most donors.

Leading the donations was Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands at $36,875. The World Center for Birds of Prey, Peregrine Fund was a close second, raising $36,104. The Idaho Humane Society and Idaho Foodbank also collected over $30,000 each.

Humane Society causes appealed to the largest number of donors (585). Planned Parenthood (375), The Peregrine Fund (326) and the Idaho Food bank (271) rounded out the top four.
