Body of man found in pond near Menan Butte identified
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports the male victim that was located and retrieved from the Jefferson County pond near the Menan Butte on Tuesday has been identified.
Officials said Blake Mitchell Landon, 29, was a resident of Roberts.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office preliminary investigation reveals that Landon died of accidental drowning.
No foul play is suspected, and next of kin has been notified.
