Bonneville Lady Bees take down Hillcrest Knights in first tournament game

The Bonneville Bees started the 5A District softball tournament with the number 1 seed and benefit playing host of the tournament.

The Bees went head to head with the Hillcrest Knights on Tuesday afternoon.

Bonneville combined to score 46 runs against Hillcrest in their previous two games.

Annie Elliot went five innings giving up three hits while striking out 4 and walking no one.

The Bee’s score three runs in the first, five in the second and seven in the third.

Ashley Hathaway went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and a run scored.

Aly Radford broke the came open in the 2nd inning with a three run double.

Emily Day was on base twice scoring two runs and driving in three.

The Bee’s advance and will face Highland Rams Thursday May 10th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Bonneville High School.

The winner of that game will advance to the championship game at 6:00 P.M.May 10th.
