Museum of Idaho gearing up for Steampunk
The Museum of Idaho is getting ready to debut their latest exhibit on Steampunk.
Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that combines technology and 19th-century design inspired by industrial steam-powered machinery.
One of the artists behind the exhibit says this has been 5 years in the making.
“Kind of re-imagined hue machines in 2013 and basically the idea is I’m bringing back to life these iconic authors and inventors from the Victorian period or the industrial age and I’m bringing them back as the machine that they either wrote about or created. Sort of the inventor becomes their invention,” says Bruce Rosenbaum, one of the artists behind the exhibit.
They will be having a VIP event tomorrow, and the exhibit opens to the public this Friday at 10 a.m.
