Idaho Falls man arrested for breaking man’s jaw

UPDATE 5/10/18: As of Thursday, Yorgensen had not been formally charged. The Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office has referred the case back to Idaho Falls Police detectives for further investigation.

Idaho Falls police report a 27-year-old Idaho Falls man was arrested for breaking a man’s jaw Saturday.

Officers said the incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. when Jonathan Casey Yorgensen reportedly punched a 33-year-old male victim.

Police said the victim’s jaw was broke in three places.

Yorgensen was arrested for aggravated battery.
