Caribou-Targhee National Forest welcomes new supervisor
There’s new management in town. The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is welcoming a new supervisor.
Mel Bolling has worked for the U.S Forest Service for 24 years. He says he’s excited to be here in Idaho and learn about our area.
“My biggest plan right now is to learn as much as I can about the communities, the forest, go out and meet the employees, work with our tribal governments, meet community leaders, elected officials, just get to know the area,” says Bolling.
Bolling is from Georgia. He has worked in New Mexico and Central Utah. He started his new duties here in Idaho this past Monday.
