New ice cream shop opens downtown

It’s getting warm, seems like a good time for ice cream. Pop’s Ice Cream opened for business in downtown Idaho Falls yesterday.

They have ice cream and dairy alternatives like allergen free Italian ice. They also have gluten-free cones.

They say they’re happy to be downtown.

“The downtown development corporation has been super helpful and welcoming. Everybody downtown, the businesses, all the customers have been great and welcoming and great to work with. It’s been fantastic being downtown,” says Jennifer Jones, co-owner.

They say the most popular flavors have been “Cherry Chocolate Chip” and “Pralines and Cream.”

It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Pop’s Ice Cream is located at 475 Park Ave in Idaho Falls.
