UPDATE: Man barricaded in home found dead
UPDATE 11:10 P.M. 5/25/18:
The man who barricaded himself into a home Friday night is dead.
The man was identified as 38 year old Clayton McClaskey of Idaho Falls.
Idaho Falls Dispatch received a call from a person concerned about the welfare of a man who was reportedly armed with a gun and threatening to hurt himself.
Police and EMS responded to the 700 block of Cleveland Street and attempted to make contact with the man.
A SWAT team was called to the home at 7:20 P.M. after several attempts to reach the man.
The SWAT team attempted to make contact with the man wtih no success.
At 8:11 P.M., the SWAT team made entry into the home and discovered the man to be unresponsive.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Bonneville County Coroner responded and verified the death.
Law enforcement want to urge anyone who is considering suicide to call for help.

UPDATE 8:33 P.M. 5/25/18: Idaho Falls Police tells Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News 3 the code red on the man barricaded in the home has been canceled and the situation is over.
ORIGINAL STORY: A man has barricaded himself in his home threatening self harm on the 700 block of Cleveland street near Wabash avenue.
Idaho Falls Police is asking everyone in the area to stay in their homes and drivers to steer clear of the area.
Negotiators are responding to the area.
A reverse 911 call and Nextdoor alert were sentout in a half mile radius.
