Obstacle course race aims to get people outside
People in Idaho Falls started their morning with a race…that had a twist to it.
“The Great Inflatable Race” is a two to three mile race with inflatable obstacle courses along the way. Racers start at the “Volcano”, then go through more inflatables along the trail before ending at the “Toothbrush.” People of all ages can do the race, even little kids. Organizers say, it’s all about getting people moving.
“We just wanna encourage people to get out and move, get out and be active, get out and run,” said Nate Hill, the event lead for The Great Inflatable Race. “You know, the owner is very, very much involved in getting people moving and being active, get them off the couch, get them out in the communities, enjoy the beautiful parks that we have, the beautiful weather here in Idaho Falls, all across the country where we do this.”
The same race was also taking place in Rhode Island today. Next, it goes to Columbus, Ohio, Oklahoma City and Philadelphia.
