St. Anthony celebrates Pioneer Days

The city of St. Anthony celebrated Pioneer Days today with many events, including a classic car show and parade.

The official holiday is on July 24th. It celebrates Mormon pioneers settling in the Salt Lake Valley. Thousands come for the St. Anthony’s celebrations that also included a 5K run, a play and more. St. Anthony residents say it’s a great opportunity for the community to come together for a fun, family-friendly day.

Bob bauer, st. Anthony resident, “There’s not many places we can in the world today where people can just kind of have a good time with their families and St. Anthony on the 24th of July is one of those lucky places,” said Bob Bauer, a St. Anthony resident.

The events continue tonight with a rodeo at the Fremont County Fairgrounds at 7 pm
