Thunder Ridge faculty getting ready for school

It’s almost time for school and what will be the first year for Thunder Ridge High School.

Here’s a look at what the school looks like now.

Teachers picked up their keys today to get their classrooms ready. Things are really coming together and they’re putting the finishing touches on the school. Faculty and students are excited to get the school year started. They say it’s starting to feel real.

“July’s been really busy working with the construction company and getting things set up that way. But today when you see teachers in the building and our staff coming in and that excitement it feels a lot more real. The next step will be having students come in then it will really hit home that we have a school and a student body,” says Doug McLaren, Principal.

The community will have a chance to check out the school with a ribbon cutting on August 22nd.
