Some evacuation orders lifted near Sharps Fire
A couple of evacuation orders have been lifted at the Sharps Fire near Bellevue Friday.
The Blaine County Sheriff announced a mandatory evacuation for the Little Wood Reservoir Road, north of the reservoir, including High Five Creek Campground and Little Wood Recreation area campground, have been lifted. However, the Little Wood Reservoir Road will remain closed at Hunt Road to non-resident traffic.
A pre-evacuation order for the Fish Creek area near Carey has been lifted.
A pre-evacuation order for residents north and east of the intersection of Buttercup Road and Myrtle Street in Hailey will be evaluated daily. Several pre-evacuation orders remain in effect. They include:

Quigley Road remains closed to all traffic, including hikers, horses and off-road vehicles.

As of Friday, the Sharps Fire was estimated at 57,253 acres and was 29 percent contained. The fire was active and expanding to the north and east.
Night operations will focus on the northeastern and northwestern flank of the fire.
The fire was human-caused by exploding targets about 6 miles east of Bellevue on July 29.
