Construction coming to Highway 26/Yellowstone Avenue

Starting in early August, Depatco, Inc. crews will be applying an asphalt overlay on US Highway 26/Yellowstone Avenue from E Iona Road to W 65th S.

Included in the project will be the replacement of damaged curb, gutter and sidewalk.

The project also calls for ADA sidewalk ramps and a new traffic signal at N Holmes Avenue and Yellowstone Avenue.

All businesses along the route will be accessible.

The road will remain open to traffic; however, multiple lane and shoulder closures will occur during construction.

Construction is expected to go through October.
