1 dead, 1 injured in 10 wheeler accident

The Power County Sheriff’s Office reports one person was killed and one person was injured in a 10 wheeler accident on Highway 39 near mile marker two around 7:45 a.m. Thursday.

The Power County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police and other emergency personnel responded to the crash location near the lower portion of the American Falls Dam.

One adult female was confirmed deceased on scene.

Power County EMS transported one adult male with injuries to Portneuf Medical Center.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Power County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police.
