Roaring Youth Jam Goes Wild

The Roaring Youth Jam is here! It is a three day art and music festival geared toward kids. This year’s theme is “Roaring Youth Jam Goes Wild.”

Booths and activities are already happening along the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Riverwalk Way.

We spotted kids today getting their faces painted, drawing pictures, being a part of magic shows, stopping at the petting zoos, and much more.

This is the 16th annual festival hosted by the Idaho Falls Arts Council.

“Part of the mission of the Idaho Falls Art’s council is to share visual arts experiences and particularly with kids,” said Georgina Goodlander, the visual arts director. “Youth jam is such a mission focused activity for us for providing all these different art activities for kids to do for free it really is a wonderful thing to do.”

There are 12 arts council booths, and about 20 vendors at this year’s festival.

Each vendor is required to host a free activity for kids.

The Youth Jam will continue Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
