Jackson man charged after morning shooting incident

The Teton County, Idaho Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of gunshots reported in the vicinity of 3500 South 500 West at around 3:39 a.m. Friday.

Deputies arrested Marshall White, 44, of Jackson, Wyoming on multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault, resisting and obstructing an officer, disturbing the peace, and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office said White and others were practicing martial arts moves, which got out of hand and led to an actual dispute. No one was injured.

White was expected to be arraigned Friday. He was being transported to the Madison County Jail in Rexburg.
