Temporary closure of 8th and 9th street

Starting on August 13th, 8th and 9th street from South Holmes Avenue to South Higbee Avenue will be closed for about six weeks to replace water lines.

Detours will be marked.

Residents will have access to their homes and driveways.

On-street parking is not prohibited, but it is not recommended during construction.

There will be times during construction when on-street parking will not be available.

3H Construction is heading the project and will notify property owners if they find it necessary to turn off water service to homes for any reason.

If water service is disrupted for more than a few hours, the contractor will provide temporary water.

While in construction zones, please reduce speeds and follow posted traffic control signs and watch for construction crews in the area.
