Local business named one of fastest growing company in US

One local business is being recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in America. Stukent, a digital courseware provider, was recently named on the Inc. 500 list.

The business was started five years ago. It wants to improve education using textbooks, real world simulations and other resources to help educators help students.

Originally, the company was named on the Inc. 5000 list, but its overall ranking of 268 put it on the top 500 list.

Stukent also ranked fifth in the education category and fourth in the state of Idaho.

“The inc 500 is measured on growth and over the last 3 or 4 years we’ve been able to double our growth year after year, and that’s what’s propelled us to that,” said Trevor Erikson, the Vice President of marketing.

The company has around 50 employees.

Stukent was based and founded in Rexburg, but recently made the move to Idaho Falls.
