Police investigate death of unresponsive 3-week-old baby

Idaho Falls Police were dispatched to the Common Cents convenience store at 1940 W. Broadway for an unresponsive 3 week old baby.

The call came in at 8:43 AM Wednesday.

Officers arrived and began life saving measures until first responders arrived.

The baby was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Officers later learned that the baby passed way.

Idaho Falls Detectives are following up with the medical examiner’s office.
