Nonresident/second elk tags selling fast

Nonresident/second elk tags are selling fast and may sell out soon, according to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

Officials say nonresident elk tags sold out in 2017 and have been selling at a faster rate in 2018. So, if you want a nonresident tag or a nonresident tag as a second tag, don’t wait much longer.

The limit on those tags is 12,815, and after they’re sold out, no more will be issued.

As of Sept. 14, there were 1,276 nonresident elk tags remaining.

You can see how many tags are left HERE. Updates are posted weekly.

Nonresident deer tags also sold out in 2017 and are also selling faster this year.

Out of the 15,500 available, 4,427 remained on Sept. 14.

Nonresident deer tags are also available as second tags, and remaining tags can be found HERE.
