Man arrested in Lava Hot Spring on battery and strangulation charges
A Logan, Utah man was arrested in Lava Hot Springs around 12:30 a.m. Monday after police received a disturbance call to the Blue Moon Bar & Grill.
Brian Hirschi was arrested and charged with attempted strangulation and aggravated battery, both felonies that carry prison sentences after officers observed one victim with a bloodied and battered face and another with clear marks on her neck.
Bannock County Sheriff Lorin Nielsen said the event appeared to be a domestic dispute gone wrong.
Hirschi, who has no previous record, was booked early Monday morning and was arraigned Monday afternoon.
