2 arrested on warrants and drug charges

A man and a woman were arrested on felony warrants and some new charges after they were stopped in Rexburg Sunday.

Rexburg Police said an officer contacted a woman, Kelly Linn Reed, 34, who was believed to be wanted. Police learned she was not the person in question but was wanted on two felony warrants.

Police also learned the man who was with her, Christopher Cory Kidd, 42, was also wanted on two outstanding felony warrants and several misdemeanor warrants.

The two were also both charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor counts of possession of schedule three drugs, drug paraphernalia and providing police with false information.

Reed and Kidd were being held in the Madison County Jail Monday.
