Visit Idaho launches campaign to attract summer visitors

Each year, Idaho tourism marketing groups hold statewide regional meetings to determine how to boost tourism traffic throughout the state.

Idaho has seven travel regions. Idaho Falls, all the way up to Island Park is Region 6.

“I think Region 6 is a gem, the reason being- they have two national parks right at their doorsteps and there are a lot of people traveling in and out of Idaho to visit that,” Diane Norton, Tourism Manager of Idaho Idaho Tourism said. “The beauty about this region is the people here are so welcoming.”

Research has shown that people have come to Region 6 the area is friendly, safe, and affordable.

Visit Idaho has revamped its travel guide, which was officially launched Wednesday to kick off the state’s prime season of summer travelers seeking outdoor adventure and unique experiences to Idaho.

What makes this guild unprecedented is that it is the first multifaceted campaign to reach travelers through new and updated elements. They are calling it Epic Idaho.

Epic Idaho is a seven-part YouTube web series capturing the essence of the Idaho travel experience.

This year’s campaign features short films that follow a family of five as they make their first visit to Idaho.

There is one video per region.

The videos show all the fun adventures they were able to experience on a 10-day journey across Idaho.

With the addition of the new Epic Idaho web series and newly designed travel guide, Visit Idaho says it is thrilled to launch its18 Summers prime season campaign.
