American Legion, Idaho Falls Post celebrates 100 years

The American Legion and the Idaho Falls post has hit the century mark.

The organizations celebrated their 100 year old birthdays Thursday night.

Members of the post, their families, and members of the community gathered at the Veteran’s Memorial Building to celebrate the day.

Dinner, dessert, and awards were all part of the celebration.
