Amber Alert canceled, Infant abducted found safe
UPDATE 10:35 p.m.: Authorities say an infant abducted in southern Wyoming has been found safe in Colorado.
Cheyenne police say 1-year-old Gregory Marks was found in Aurora late Thursday with 26-year-old Mijito Johnson who was thought to have taken the child Thursday afternoon.
Johnson, who is the boy’s non-custodial father, was taken into custody.
Police credited a tip they received from someone who spotted the vehicle they were looking for.
The Amber Alert that was issued Thursday for the boy was discontinued.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert on behalf of the Cheyenne Police Department for Gregory Marks, a 1-year-old male who police say was forcibly taken from this mother by her boyfriend Mijito Johnson.Johnson is a 26-year-old male who was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and tennis shoes.
Johnson is not the biological parent, and the child was taken against the mother’s will.
Police say he does not have a child safety seat for this child in his silver 2004 Ford Expedition.
The Expedition has a bill of sale in the place of the license plate, and the rear passenger window is broken out. Gregory’s mother said Johnson has family in Denver.
The child was taken around 3 p.m. Thursday.
