Murder trial slated in death of Hibbard man

Jessica Conser, 35, will face trial for first degree murder in Madison County District Court this fall.

Conser appeared for a scheduling hearing in Rexburg Monday. Judge Steven Boyce will hear the case beginning October 22.

She is charged with the shooting death of her father, Mathew Robert Travao III, 66, outside his home in Hibbard on June 6, 2018. Conser was arrested near the Montana border in Clark County.
