Fire Station 1 crew moves to temporary quarters
Jackson Hole Fire-EMS has moved most of its operations to a temporary home at 305 West Snow King Avenue, near the Teton County Fairgrounds.
The old station house at 60 East Pearl Avenue was closed for renovation work Tuesday. There will be no public access to the building during the construction period, but Fire and Electrical Inspectors and Chief Officers will remain in the building throughout the period.
The construction will continue for about 18 months.
The Fire-EMS Administrative Office building, next to the permanent fire station at 40 East Pearl Avenue, will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
