Internet and phone service failures disrupt Teton County offices
UPDATE: 2:25 p.m.
Several Teton County offices have closed for the day, due to an IT system failure.
Offices now closed include: Assessor, Planning and Building and Affordable Housing.
The Treasurer is unable to process transactions, but will be open till 5 p.m.
The Teton County Health Department, Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling, and Trash Transfer Station remained open.
The County Attorney, Clerk of the District Court, and both Circuit Court and District Court are all open.

Problems with internet and telephone service is creating some disruption of service in the Jackson, Wyoming area Friday.
The Teton County Clerk’s Office advises that Information Technology personnel are working to address the issues, but many county offices do not have access to internet or phones.
The disruption is not affecting 911 dispatch and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS operations.
As a result, the clerk’s office is unable to help the public with some issues, including motor vehicle registration and marriage licenses. Jackson/Teton county Affordable Housing offices have closed until the network system is back in operation.
In other offices, the Teton County Health Department and Trash Transfer Station remain operable and open. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office has not been affected by the network outage.
A swim meet at the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Center is proceeding.
