Idaho Power announces executive changes

Lisa A. Grow has been promoted to the position of President of Idaho Power, effective October 1.

Grow will report to Darrel T. Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Power and President and Chief Executive Officer of the utility’s parent company, IDACORP, Inc.

Grow, a 32-year Idaho Power veteran, held several engineering positions within the company before moving into management.

“Lisa brings a tremendous level of leadership to this role and has a deep passion for our company. Her vast industry experience has been key during a time of unprecedented operational and financial success for Idaho Power and IDACORP,” Anderson said. “Lisa’s impact goes beyond our company, though. She serves on several boards for outside organizations, demonstrating her commitment to the communities we serve.”

In other administrative changes, Idaho Power named Adam Richins as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Another Vice President, Vern Porter, announced he would retire effective January 1, 2020.

The Board of Directors also announced the appointment of four new Idaho Power Vice Presidents:

Ryan N. Adelman, Vice President, Transmission & Distribution Engineering and Construction, will oversee all aspects of designing and constructing Idaho Power’s vast transmission and distribution systems. Sarah E. Griffin, Vice President, Human Resources, will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, diversity, talent and organizational development, employee engagement, and succession planning. Bo Hanchey, Vice President, Customer Operations and Chief Safety Officer, will oversee teams dedicated to customer satisfaction as well as operational construction and maintenance at Idaho Power. Debra Leithauser, Vice President, Corporate Services and Communications, will oversee supply chain, corporate real estate and facilities in her new role, as well as retain oversight of corporate communications.
