Dense Fog Advisory through 3pm

Dense fog advisory in effect through 3pm for the majority of the Snake River Plain. Hazardous conditions along the I-15 corridor will require slower speeds, low beam headlights and close attention to the road. Fog may create flurries

* WHAT...VISIBILITY ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS IN DENSE FOG.

* WHERE...SHOSHONE, RICHFIELD, CAREY, MUD LAKE, INL, CRATERS OF THE MOON, IDAHO FALLS, REXBURG, ST. ANTHONY, POCATELLO, BLACKFOOT, AMERICAN FALLS, SHELLEY, FORT HALL, BURLEY, RUPERT, HEYBURN, OAKLEY, ASHTON, TETONIA, DRIGGS, HOWE, ARCO, MACKAY.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO LOW VISIBILITY. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...VERY LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION RESULTING IN ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS ARE POSSIBLE. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... IF DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS, AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.

Inversions will remain in place with areas of fog for the Snake River Plain and warmer temperatures for the higher elevations with sunshine. AM freezing fog with lows into the mid to lower 20's. Winds at 5-10 MPH, with a slight chance of snow

 Highs into the lower 30's. A slight chance of snow from the low clouds and fog. Northwest winds at 5-10 MPH.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with some morning fog. Highs into the mid 30's with winds at 5-10 MPH.

SUNDAY: More sunshine with some morning fog. Highs into the mid 30's with winds at 5-10 MPH.
