FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Oil prices are up and markets are tense after the outbreak of war in Gaza. That could accelerate the move to renewable energy, says the head of the International Energy Agency. Fatih Birol says that after Gaza and after Russia’s cutoff of natural gas to Europe over the invasion of Ukraine, no one can convince him fossil fuels are safe and secure.
