JERUSALEM (AP) — The latest Israel-Hamas war has quickly become the deadliest and most destructive in the long history of the bitter enemies. More Israelis and Palestinians have been killed than in any of the four previous wars dating to late 2008. More Palestinians and Israelis are displaced than ever before, and Israeli airstrikes throughout the Gaza Strip have wrought unprecedented destruction by flattening entire neighborhoods.
