An American woman accused of murdering 2 of her children fights extradition in a London court

LONDON (AP) — A prosecutor in London says an American woman accused of murdering her two youngest children in Colorado last December told her 11-year-old daughter who survived the attack that God was making her do it. The harrowing details emerged this week in Westminster Magistrates’ Court where Kimberlee Singler is fighting extradition to the United States. Prosecutor Joel Smith says her 11-year-old daughter told police she begged her mother not to harm her after she had already cut her neck with a knife. But then her mother slashed her again. Singler’s attorney says she denies attacking her children and is concerned her daughter’s statement to police was coerced.
