IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Monday.
1. Lori Vallow-Daybell is set to receive her sentence today at the Fremont County Courthouse. She could be facing life in prison without the possibility of parole. During today's sentencing the court is expected to hear from several relatives. We will be streaming the sentencing live at 9 a.m. here on the front page of this website.
2. The Hayden Fire is now covering over 18,000 acres. The blaze is now 5% contained. Evacuation Zone 1 is set to a 'Go' status, meaning they must leave the area. Zone 2 is in a 'Set' status, needing to be ready to evacuate at any moment.
3. Today, the Idaho Transportation Department will begin resurfacing the West 49th North bridge over Interstate 15 in Idaho Falls. The bridge will be closed for 2 weeks. Also in Pocatello, east-bound traffic on Pocatello Creek Road between Jefferson Avenue and Call Creek will be down to one lane. The project will last about 3 weeks.
