3 things to know this morning – September 18, 2023

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Monday.

1. A former prosecuting attorney is facing drug trafficking charges. Robin Dwain Dunn of Rigby, was indicted last week by a federal grand jury. Dunn is scheduled to appear before a U.S. Magistrate judge today to be arraigned on the charges.

2.  The Bingham County Republican Central Committee is suing the Idaho Republican Party over what they say are bully tactics by the larger committee. The Bingham County Republicans say Idaho Republican Party Chairwoman Dorothy Moon declared the election invalid and announced her intentions to hold her own election.

3. Smitty's Pancake and Steakhouse in Idaho Falls is closed for at least two weeks. It's so the restaurant can complete some renovations including replacing the tile and leveling the floors. They do not yet have an anticipated reopening date.
