3 things to know this morning – October 23, 2023

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Monday.

1. The city of Inkom no longer has its own Police Department. The city came to the conclusion after losing its Police Chief. However, the level of police presence in the community will not change with the Bannock County Sheriff's Office now in charge of the area.

2. The Wyoming Department of Transportation will be starting an extensive project today north of Hoback. Teton County's Swinging Bridge Road will close for the next year and a half to replace the bridge over the Snake River. Residents and drivers will be detoured onto Henry’s Road or Teton County Road.

3. The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is holding a customer hearing today to take testimony on an application from Falls Water Co. to change the rates it charges customers for water service. It will be held in the Idaho Falls Public Library conference room, from 1 to 3 p.m. If you can't make it in person, you can also call in.
