Barrett’s big night lifts Rigby past Idaho Falls

RIGBY, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Rigby rode Britton Barrett's 33 points to a season opening 68-55 win over Idaho Falls Wednesday. The Trojans took control with an 18-4 first quarter. Ethan Fox, Tanoa Togiai, and Keegan Thompson each added 7 points.

Ryan Farnsworth scored the only field goal in the first quarter for Idaho Falls. He lead the Tigers with 15 points. Spencer Moore provided the Tigers with 12.

Rigby (1-0) heads south to Blackfoot. Idaho Falls (0-1) welcomes Clearfield High School out of Utah. Both of those games are Friday.
