Sugar-Salem sweeps Teton in 3A District 6 baseball tournament

SUGAR CITY, Idaho (KIFI) - Sugar-Salem overpowered Teton with a combined 25 runs to open the 3A District 6 baseball tournament Monday. The Diggers eliminate the Timberwolves with the double header sweep.

Sugar-Salem won the first game 14-1 and game two 11-2. Mack Chappell led the Diggers by going a combined 3-5 and 7 RBI on the day.

Sugar-Salem will move on to the championship series against top seed South Fremont. The best of three begins with a double header Friday in St. Anthony.
