Skyline reclaims Emotion Bowl title in 46-7 blowout win over Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - In the 58th annual Emotion Bowl, the Skyline Grizzlies dominated from the start on their way to a 46-7 victory over Idaho Falls.

The game's MVP, Oregon commit Kenyon Sadiq, had an outstanding game, with 123 yards receiving, including an 81-yard touchdown catch. He also had a 27-yard rushing touchdown in the first half and made plays on defense, posting a sack and an interception.

Quarterback Lachlan Haacke played a huge part in the win, going 12-of-16 for 266 yards and four touchdowns.

"We were focused to start the game," said Head Coach Scott Berger. "We knew what we had to do to get it done. I'm so proud of Skyline High School and the whole west side. This is a group win."

"To get the goalpost back and have them blue next year for those guys is awesome," Sadiq said. "There's definitely that feeling of relief and joy of having those blue again."

The Grizzlies (4-1) travel to Rigby on Friday to face the Trojans.

The Tigers (1-4) are back at Ravsten Stadium on Friday to take on Century.
