ISU Women’s Basketball bounces back, defeats Northern Colorado 68-56
POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho State Bengals are back in the win column thanks to a gritty performance Saturday afternoon against Northern Colorado in a 68-56 victory.
Tomekia Whitman helped gain some momentum at halftime for ISU with a last-second three-pointer to take the lead. That helped the Bengals pull away in the second half.
Diaba Konate had a monster game, leading all scorers with 25 points, and becoming only the third player in ISU history to shoot better than 90-percent on at least 10 or more field goal attempts.
Next up, Idaho State travels to Bozeman to face Montana State Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
