Rigby Girls Basketball defeats rival Madison 48-41 to advance to District Title Game

RIGBY, Idaho (KIFI) - The Rigby Trojans are heading to the 5A District 5-6 championship thanks to a 48-41 victory on home court Thursday night against the Madison Bobcats.

Rigby charged out to an early lead thanks to baskets from Kylie Dansie and Hadley Good.

The game stayed close but the Trojans held on for the seven-point win.

Next up, Rigby travels to Thunder Ridge for the District Championship Tuesday night while Madison hosts Idaho Falls. Both games tip off at 7:00 p.m.
