First shot clock tournament in Idaho tips off at Skyline High School

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The first shot clock tournament in the state of Idaho began Friday morning at Skyline High School featuring local girls basketball teams in action.

Bonneville, Sugar-Salem and Skyline all played their first games with a 35-second shot clock. Sugar-Salem defeated Bonneville in its first game and Skyline took down Jerome.

The shot clock was approved as a first reading in April to be implemented in Idaho High School Basketball, and the second vote to add the shot clock permanently is this Wednesday.
